Who has the keys to your website?
A lot of people find out, when asked, that they do not know.
If any of these six happen to you, you are not the one with the keys
- The person who made it has not answered for months
- Nobody has updated it for years and it no longer represents you
- You do not know where it is hosted or who pays for the domain
- You cannot get in to change a phone number or an opening time
- It went down one afternoon and nobody knew who to call
- It was made with a tool that no longer exists
What we do
- Diagnosis first. What is set up, what is broken, who owns the domain, where your data is and who can touch it.
- We tell you the truth: whether it can be rescued or whether it comes out cheaper to redo it. Sometimes the honest answer is the second one, and we say so even when it suits us less.
- A fixed price before touching anything. It comes out of the diagnosis, with its scope and its deadline in writing. And if access has to be recovered, we are the ones who fight it out with whoever is needed.
Your keys, in your name
Your domain and your data are yours from day one, and that goes in the contract. If one day you want to leave, you take the domain, the content and the data, exported and in a format that can be opened.
That is the lesson of this page:what happened to you once is that someone else had the keys. We are not going to do the same to you.
Four keys. Look at which ones you hold today.
The domain
The data
The content
What was made for you
What you do not take with you is the platform it runs on, which is ours, just as you would not take anybody's management program. You take everything that is yours, and with that someone else can set it up wherever they want.
All four are checked in the diagnosis, one by one, and we tell you in writing.
The next step
Let us find out who holds the keys
We look at domain, hosting, what has been made and your data, and tell you what is in your name and what is not.
